The Story of
GZOND

Gzond comes from the dutch word gezond which can be translated to both healthy and sun tanned. This young start-up from Amsterdam produces natural and mineral-based  sunscreen which is protects and nourishes the skin.

Vision

As a new player in a highly competitive market Gzond needed to stand out yet keep its naturalistic approach. Additionally, it was crucial to point out the play on words in the company's name, which also included zon the dutch word for sun.

Since the name of the company incompasses such deep meanings we decided to put the wordmark in the spotlight and create personalised font for it. This font consist of two shapes only where the G and D emerge from the O and the Z and N are the exact same form just rotated.

Lastly, it was very important to Gzond to also have a sun as an icon to be included in their logo. With an abstract shape of a sun in the background we not only created a very recognisable identification but also an outstanding element by using a more vibrant complementary colour.
